Dr. Muwaffaq Hussein Al-Lami – a lecturer at the center, carried out a discussion seminar entitled (The Climate Conference of the Parties: International Visions and Analysis) that included an international analysis of the outcomes of the twenty-eighth edition of the Climate Conference of the Parties, which was held in the United Arab Emirates for the period between November 30 and December 11, 2023, which represents one of the most important international conferences organized periodically by the United Nations Climate Change Organization. The lecturer stressed the importance of intellectual cross-fertilization and knowledge and technical exchange to address and limit the phenomenon of the increasing rise in global temperatures and the worsening of unexpected weather conditions, on the basis of which the Climate Conference of the Parties emerged in this session to play a pivotal role in raising concerns and taking necessary measures to limit the consequences of these steady changes.
