Lecture entitled (Health effects of the microbiological environment in hospitals: challenges and solutions)

As part of the Environmental Research Center’s cultural season, Assistant Professor Dr. Imad El-Din Hatem Abdel gave a lecture entitled “The Health Impacts of the Microbial Environment in Hospitals: Challenges and Solutions.” The lecture addressed hospital-acquired infections, also known as healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), which are infections acquired by patients while receiving healthcare that were not present or in the incubation period upon admission. HAIs are among the most significant challenges facing healthcare systems globally, due to their negative impact on patient health and increased mortality rates.
