‏In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Director of the Environmental Research Center represented the research centers at the ninth meeting of the University of Technology Council for the academic year 2024-2025.

‏The University of Technology held its ninth council meeting for the academic year 2024-2025, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Professor Dr. Haider Abd Dahd, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, and a number of college deans. The Director of the Environmental Research Center, Professor Dr. Zainab Bahaa Mohammed, also participated in the meeting, representing the university’s research centers. During the meeting, the council discussed several important issues related to developing academic curricula, enhancing university performance, and strengthening the University of Technology’s position in international rankings. His Excellency the Minister also emphasized the importance of activating applied and professional programs in undergraduate and graduate studies, and transitioning them from theoretical realms to an environment of applied scientific research that achieves the philosophy of degrees related to technological specializations. At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister appreciated the efforts made by the university presidency and the council members, and stressed the need for continued coordination and integration between colleges and research centers to achieve the desired scientific and development goals
