The Environmental Research Center Participates in the National Tree Planting Day

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the guidance and supervision of the Director of the Environmental Research Center, Professor Dr. Zainab Bahaa Mohammed, the Center’s faculty and administrative staff participated in the National Tree Planting Day. The event included the planting of a large number of seedlings in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, including in the university gardens. Posters were also displayed to raise awareness of the importance of tree planting and the types of trees that should be planted in Iraq. ‏The University President praised our Center’s active participation and emphasized the need to contribute to environmental conservation and creating a healthy climate as a goal of sustainable development.
